Protective Equipment (PPE) Policy?

KMI strictly enforces the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure the safety and protection of all employees, contractors, and visitors within company premises.

Area A – Hazardous Operational Areas

Examples include mining areas, stockyards, causeways, and drilling sites. Complete basic PPE is strictly required.

Area B – Non-Operational Areas

Examples include offices, campsites, staff houses, and training facilities. PPE is generally not required unless otherwise specified.

Area C – Special Task Areas

Examples include workshops, laboratories, and warehouses that require specialized PPE depending on the nature of work.

Basic PPE Requirements

Proper clothing (long sleeves and appropriate pants; revealing or see-through clothing is prohibited)
Hard hat
Reflective or high-visibility vest
Safety shoes or rain boots

Specialized PPE May Include
