Championing Education through SDMP Scholarship Program
Under the framework of its 2025 Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), KMI officially launched the KMI–SDMP Scholarship Program, a flagship initiative aimed at supporting deserving indigent students of Barangay Adlay in pursuing tertiary education at any State Universities.
The program was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Adlay Barangay Captain Hon. Norberto Rubi, Jr., in partnership with KMI, reflecting a shared commitment to education, community development, and long-term sustainability.
As part of its continuing advocacy for inclusive and quality education within its host communities, KMI successfully facilitated the SDMP Scholarship Program Examination and Interview on May 30, 2025, at the Barangay Adlay Multipurpose Hall, Carrascal. Following a thorough evaluation and selection process, the company formally announced the twelve (12) qualified scholars on June 12, 2025.
Subsequently, KMI conducted the Orientation and Contract Signing for the selected scholars and their parents on the following day at the KMI Conference Room, marking the official commencement of the scholars’ participation in the SDMP Scholarship Program.
Through this initiative, anchored on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality of Education, KMI reaffirms its commitment to empowering communities by investing in education laying the foundation for sustainable development and future opportunities for the youth of Barangay Adlay.
