KMI Invests in Community Education Through Support to Volunteer Teachers

As part of its sustained commitment to education and community development, Kafugan Mining Incorporated provided financial subsidy to three volunteer teachers serving in Barangay Adlay—Edmarose G. Pedrablanca, Leah Mae M. Mollaneda, and Cheska Sweet Armayan.

The initiative aims to help ease the financial challenges faced by volunteer educators while reinforcing their vital role in delivering quality basic education at the community level. By extending this support, KMI recognizes the dedication and service of teachers who continue to contribute to the academic growth and personal development of learners despite limited resources.

This activity forms part of KMI’s Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), anchored on human capital development and inclusive growth. Through strategic investments in education, KMI seeks to strengthen learning environments and support individuals who play a key role in shaping future generations.

KMI remains committed to partnering with local communities to implement responsive programs that address immediate needs while contributing to long-term social development. Supporting educators reflects the company’s broader objective of fostering sustainable communities through shared responsibility and collaboration.
