Turns over Medicines to Adlay Health Center in Support of Community Health

In a joint effort to promote community healthcare, Kafugan Mining Incorporated officially conducted the Turnover and Project Acceptance Ceremony for the provision of medicines for common illnesses on May 16, 2025, at Adlay Health Center. This project is under the Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) in partnership with BLGU Adlay and the Barangay Health Center.

During the event, Midwife Ellen Suniel reminded the community that they may seek medicine assistance from the health center once their supply runs out. Municipal Health Officer Dr. Eleanor Gwendale U. Cotares emphasized the vital role of daily vitamins and essential medication, particularly for children, urging families to prioritize their health. Also, Adlay Barangay Captain Hon. Norberto O. Rubi, Jr. encouraged all residents to take proactive steps in preventing common illnesses.

This initiative strengthens the shared commitment of KMI and BLGU Adlay to Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, ensuring access to essential healthcare services and promoting healthier lives for all.

Together, let’s continue to be in good shape—because a healthy body leads to a thriving community!
