Inclusive Information for All: Establishment of IEC Community Hubs

Inclusive development begins with open and accessible information. In line with this initiative, Kafugan Mining Incorporated established Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Community Hubs at the Campsite and in the Barangay Halls of Adlay and Pantukan.

These IEC Community Hubs provide host community residents with free and convenient access to information on the company’s environmental stewardship programs, occupational safety and health initiatives, and community relations projects and activities. By making these resources readily available, the company strengthens transparency, promotes informed participation, and fosters trust between KMI and its stakeholders.

This initiative is anchored in Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 – Quality Education, as it promotes inclusive and equitable access to information and supports lifelong learning opportunities within host communities.
